Maria Fides Balita retires as founder and owner of Maharlika PLLC effective June 3, 2026. She thanks all clients of Maharlika PLLC for their support the past four years. She looks forward to her retirement and enjoying her flower garden.

We are pleased to share that effective May 15, 2026, Maharlika PLLC has joined Galleros Robinson, Certified Public Accountants, LLP.

Under the leadership of Maria Fides Balita, Maharlika PLLC has developed strong client relationships built on responsiveness, professionalism, and personal attention. We are honored by the trust placed in both firms and are committed to continuing those relationships with the same level of care and dedication clients have come to expect.

This transition reflects a shared commitment to client service and provides an opportunity to offer additional resources and broader support while maintaining the relationship-based approach that remains important to both firms.

Members of the Maharlika PLLC team are expected to continue serving clients as part of Galleros Robinson, helping provide continuity, familiarity, and a seamless transition experience for clients and engagements alike.

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, September 19, 2023 announced today that it has successfully completed a rigorous peer review of its accounting and auditing practice. The reviewer concluded that the firm’s system of quality control for the accounting and auditing practice in effect for the year ended December 31, 2022, has been suitably designed and complied with to provide reasonable assurance of performing and reporting in conformity with applicable professional standards in all material respects.
